In my opinion you can really improve the quality and zest of your photography portfolio by trying a theme or style of photography that you haven't done before.
When was the last time you tried something that was completely new to you?
Or to expand on this point,:
When was the last time you tried something new, and then worked at getting good at it?
Failed experiments are tough on the pocket and on the soul, but they are often a necessary starting point.
So my challenge to you is to think of something you have never tried before and work at getting some really good results from it.
It might be a case of trying a new theme in your photography, or a new style such as pinhole or 35mm in your camera.
Trying something new is like a breath of fresh air into your photography, and its something that must be done as often as possible!
